Taste a diverse array of fine Chinese tea with a renowned tea master and learn about the traditional rituals of tea making, and sipping, from the Hong Kong First Female Tea Scholar (香港第一女茶人) , Prof Eliza Liu! By the end of the workshop, we hope you will leave with a deeper understanding and appreciation for Chinese tea.

At the workshop, your tea master will demonstrate the intricate rituals of preparing Chinese tea with traditional utensils, you’ll experience the tea making yourself and learn how to assess the appearance, aroma and after-taste of the beverage. Your tea master will also explain the process behind tea production, the health benefits of tea and how to choose the right type, you’ll almost be an expert yourself.

Tea is just part of the fun. Dress up in Chinese costume to immerse yourself in the traditional Chinese culture and get yourself in the mood for the welcoming the Lunar New Year of Rooster. We will have a “Best Dressed Award” for the best dressed child in Chinese traditional style under 8 years old. Participants will also make a Chinese New Year card for the Sisters.

Cost: Members – HK$200 per family, Non-Members – HK$300 per family
