Explore the Hong Kong UNESCO Global Geopark with AASPCS!

AASPCS is organising a boat trip to the Inner Sea of Sai Kung to visit parts of the Hong Kong UNESCO Global Geopark. Here’s your chance to meet with fellow members this summer and to learn about Hong Kong natural and cultural heritage!

Located in the eastern part of Hong Kong, the Hong Kong UNESCO Global Geopark showcases world-class geo-heritage, diverse ecological and cultural landscape. A Geopark guide will take us on a tour to Jin Island and Ung Kong Group of Islands with shore excursions at Tai She Wan, Yim Tin Tsai and Sharp Island, where we will learn about the unique geological landscape in the UNESCO Geopark, visit one of the oldest chapels in Hong Kong and learn about old Hakka settlement and economy.

Deadline: The deadline for registration is 1 June 2022. Due to limited availability, places will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

Failure to include any of the details on this form will mean the submission is not valid. By submitting an application, you are confirming on behalf of yourself and of your guests, family members and as a parent/guardian of a participant under the age of 18 (as the case may be) that each participant accepts all the terms and conditions of this event and you consent on behalf of yourself and of your guests, family members and as a parent/guardian of all participants under the age of 18 (as the case may be) to the display of all participants’ names, age of the participants, photos of all participants on the website of AASPCS.

 TERMS and CONDITIONS:

  1. All participants must be at least 6 years old as of the date of the event. 
    No refund once payment is made, except in the case of Tyhpoon No. 8 or Black Rainstorm signal, the event will, at the full discretion of AASPCS, either be reschedule to another date with no refund or be cancelled with full refund. 
  2. AASPCS reserves the right to change any terms, conditions, rules and arrangement for this event without prior notice.
  3. The trip will involve sight-seeing at sea and easy to moderate walking on shore. Participants shall be responsible for their own safety and the safety of their guests and family members. AASPCS shall not be responsible or liable to any person for any injuries, deaths or any losses arising out of, or in connection with, this event. Participants are advised to purchase their own insurance as they see fit.
  4. Itinerary may be subject to change due to weather, wind or wave conditions. AASPCS shall have the final discretion to alter the itinerary of this event at any time . 
  5. All personal information collected by AASPCS will only be used in matters relating to this event including promotion and publicity purposes.
  6. AASPCS’s decision on the selection of photos taken at the event (including but not limited to photos of you and your participating family members and your finished product) for display is final.
  7. All participants must have received two doses or more of a COVID-19 vaccine and will be required to sign in on Leave Home Safe upon arrival at the event. 
  8. For the safety of all participants, all participants should take a Rapid Antigen Test on the day of the event and shall provide the results to AASPCS. Participants with positive test results shall not be allowed to participate.  
  9. AASPCS may alter the requirements for attendance in accordance with the latest government’s Vaccine Pass requirements.
